May I suggest an ecothriller for the Club. It's called "Save the Whales Please," and has received a terrific review in the April issue of Foreword. It would be perfect for an Earth Day discussion. The novel, being called "amazingly realistic," seems like a case of fact following fiction because the plot envisages the exact scenario that's playing out in recent headlines which indicate that a return of commercial whaling looms large.
