As part of Burbank READs "On Gratitude" there are a few ways that you too can express what you are grateful for. Donate cans or boxes of food at your Burbank Library. Write a letter to a member of our military services that will be sent on through Operation Gratitude. Write a gratitude list and leave it to be posted on our Gratitude trees or keep an eye out for our roving cameraperson and you could be a part of our next video post!

Essay Writing Contest for Teens in Grades 6-12
- Take a look at Todd Aaron Jensen’s book On Gratitude, for ideas and guidelines.
- Write a 500-word essay "On Gratitude."
- Turn your entry in at the Reference Desk of any Burbank Public Library OR attach your Word doc to an email and send it to mygratitude@earthlink.com by October 14.
- Mr. Jensen will choose the winners. Prizes will be awarded. Got questions? Call 818-238-5589.
