OK, so this isn't officially tied into our Rocket Boys programming, however the library's exploration of outer space continues with our May

which will be featuring a program entitled:

The Mars Rover: Robot Explorers on Our Neighbor Planet

Come hear Dr. Kim Gostelow, a software engineer at JPL whose programs flew on the Mars rovers. With pictures and video to accompany, he will talk about what it takes to build and send these travelers to Mars, how they work, and what they show us about our neighbor planet.
